After 8 April, 2014, Microsoft will no longer support or update their Windows XP operating system.

This means your XP computer will no longer receive automatic updates that help protect your personal data. Even if you have anti-virus software, your computer will still not be fully secure.

Without the support of Microsoft it will be very difficult for us to protect these Windows XP PC’s from viruses and security hacks. We highly recommend replacing these machines now.

alltasksIT cannot be held responsible for any issues caused by these PC’s after April 8, 2014.

What this means for you and your business:

If you continue to use Windows XP after Microsoft withdraws support, your computer will still work but will become vulnerable to security risks and viruses. In addition, as more software and hardware manufacturers continue to optimise for more recent versions of Windows, a greater number of programs and devices like cameras and printers won’t work with Windows XP.
